Rob Peach is a Baltimore native who earned his Doctor of Philosophy in interdisciplinary studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, in May 2018. His fields of study include ethnic studies, hip-hop studies and religious studies. He has professional experience in local journalism; secondary, higher and graduate education; and the nonprofit sector.
Currently, Rob is community outreach and engagement coordinator at Arcata House Partnership, a housing-first continuum of care NGO in Humboldt County, California, offering a range of services for those who are precariously housed -- from street outreach to permanent supportive housing. Rob enjoys creative nonfiction writing and exploring the outdoors -- hiking the wooded trails and swimming the pristine rivers off the coast of Northern California. He loves rap music and maintains his adolescent obsession with the band 311. He finds inspiration in intimacy with family and friends.
